because voting is sexy.
some things that i have been intrigued by as of late:
- schoolhouse electric co in portland - classic fixtures and handblown shades that have been out of production since the depression era
- lorena barrezueta gourmet porcelain dishes - they look like colorful versions of take-out ware!
- little lights that attach to a 9-volt battery - viola, instant light!
- the following are from boingboing.net
- small rubber stamp that takes out "god" from u.s. currency - or possibly replaces it w/ the flying spaghetti monster
- book of library porn - instant orgasm for librarians and bibliophiles
- florida and texas voting machines seem to magically pick GOP ticket "in error."
- report voting problems to 1-866-OUR-VOTE

Charlie Crist?! Boo! Green Vomit! Groan!
I like those 9-volt battery lights a great deal. What a way to sex up a camping trip in the deep backwoods of Florida! And they would be neat as centerpieces on a fancy dinner table.
Those porcelein dishes combined with your comment just before I clicked the link really made me laugh!
The depression era light shades are kinda cool though.
That is no naughty of them ordering take-out then taking a mould and making them into porcelein or very ingenious...I haven't decided which it is yet.
Yes, that is my drivers license. :-) And I love that godless money thing!
madge - wow! camping trip lights, what a great idea! i was actually thinking of using them at the wedding, how fun would that be? though possibly not very environmental, on both counts.
fb - hehe. i tend towards "partly ingenious." you can't use them in the oven or microwave! lame.
rrramone - flying spaghetti monster ftw!
